Our client, a streaming service is currently seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist for a fully remote 7 month+ contract to potential hire role.
We are looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist to join the team implementing, integrating and handling marketing platforms and tools used by marketing and growth teams internally and by external creative agencies and marketing partners. In this role, you’ll work directly with marketing and growth teams to optimize their processes and technology in ways that have a positive and measurable impact on growth while driving the speed and scale demanded by a fast growing, global business.
You’ll provide expertise in marketing technology, such as automated creative production, digital asset management, campaign management, social media suites, and digital listening.
You will handle user provisioning and deprovisioning for existing platforms and update backend settings and permissions as needed.
You will manage our marketing technology vendors who will help with deeper platform configuration and customization.
You will be available to answer user questions, report incidents, escalate bugs or platform issues when flagged, and follow up with resolutions while assessing impact and keeping everyone informed and updated on status.
You’ll work closely with marketing technology vendors to conduct strategic business reviews that summarize progress, use cases, business impact and future opportunities for improvements.
You’ll measure platform adoption by team/function and ensure internal stakeholders are continuously finding value in these platforms before renewing their services.
You will help deprecate platforms when they’re no longer delivering value or when they have been replaced by other systems.
You will handle platform transitions when required, involving teams and data migration, to minimize impact on processes, benchmarking and allow for reporting consistency.
You’ll anticipate technology needs before they arise, working with the marketing and growth teams to find solutions that meet fluctuating and rapidly evolving goals and objectives.
You will partner with your Marketing, Product, Engineering, Insights and Analytics colleagues to prioritize and execute work and foster a culture of impact and performance.
You have at least 4 years of experience providing technical and operational capability in marketing technology for marketing and growth teams; You have an strong affinity for marketing and growth
You have a deep understanding of paid media, owned media and earned media marketing
You have an in-depth understanding of the systems that power marketing automation, creative production, personalization, measurement, and analytics.
You have professional experience working in a product-oriented environment
You have a comfort and familiarity with modern development practices and the development lifecycle with experience using Scrum, Kanban, Lean or other agile methodologies
You have excellent leadership and relationship building skills
You have strong communication and change management skills
You are good at sorting out ambiguity
You have high standards for yourself and others
You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and take on something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away
You are seen as a subject-matter technical expert and enjoy consulting with others in the business on achieving their goals
You are self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently
